Appointment of New Principal

The Board of Governors is very pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Judith Meekin as Principal of Kilbride Central Primary School.

Mrs Meekin is delighted to be joining the team in Kilbride. She brings with her a wealth of experience in both teaching and school leadership. Having previously served as Principal of Straidhavern Primary School, she has a strong appreciation for the important role that rural schools play within their communities. She values the warmth, care and strong relationships that small schools offer, helping every child to flourish.

With a Master's Degree in Special Education and Inclusion, Mrs Meekin is passionate about ensuring that every child is supported to meet their full potential in a safe, nurturing environment.

Mrs Meekin will join us from 1st September. She is excited to begin this new role and to work closely with our pupils, families and staff to create an enjoyable, memorable and inspiring educational experience for every child. She looks forward to getting to

know the school community and to working alongside the dedicated staff team to ensure that Kilbride Central Primary School continues to be a place where children can learn, thrive and be proud of who they are.
